Snipers
Paradise
2004 Sniper Challenge
at
Tac-Pro Shooting Center
Dear
Potential Sponsor,
I would like to take
this opportunity to personally ask for your support and to notify you of
a good source of advertisement. This opportunity can also provide
a vehicle for demonstrating the tactical rifle community you are there
for them. Many of you have been sponsors for the last 5 years, and
we ask that you keep up your dedication and sponsor again this year.
On
October 29-31 2004, Snipers Paradise is holding it's sixth Annual Sniper
Challenge. This year will again be held at the beautiful Tac-Pro
Shooting Center facility, west of Dallas, Texas. The Sniper Challenge
is one of the most challenging sniper competitions anywhere and has raised
the standards for all. This event brings shooters from all over the United
States and some from overseas. 2001 saw competitors from Canada and England
and 2002 had teams from Canada and Italy. Our cutoff this year is
40 teams (80 shooters).
The
2000 Sniper Challenge raised $24,000+ in prizes while 2001 produced $35,000
in sponsorship and 74 shooters with 2003 around the same. Our goal
is $20,000 or more for 2004. You can see some TV coverage at: http://www.snipersparadise.com/SniperComps/SniperChallenge/2001/low.wmv
Sponsorship
As
a sponsor and advertiser, you have several different levels at which you
can participate and show support. Some of the benefits include having your
company information (IE company name, phone number, address, Website address,
and other important information) printed on the back of the shooters T-shirts.
We will also proudly post this same information on our WEB site where we
are now averaging anywhere from 75,000 - 125,000 visitors per month. Additionally, we prominently display company banners, posters, or other
display boards you wish to have displayed throughout the shooters areas.
Snipers Paradise
is also encouraging contributing companies to bring a representative and
showcase and/or demonstrate your products and technology. The past three
years have not produced many companies setting up booths but they do
send teams to compete and demonstrate their products. This type of
exposure can help bring new or repeat business while you help bring our
soldiers, officers, and dedicated civilians an opportunity to learn from
each other in a highly competitive environment. The police and military
shooters that attend are usually the driving force for departmental and
unit purchases, so their input is invaluable to your company. The civilian
shooters that attend are the ones that spend their own hard-earned money
on your products; these are the key target markets for you. Sponsorship
prizes and money must be received by Sniper's Paradise no later than (NLT)
September 1st, 2003. A Letter of Intent (or Email of Intent) can be sent
at anytime before. Once we receive your Letter of Intent, you will be listed
on the
Sponsors'
Page.
Sincerely,
Thomas
Blahnik
Director, Snipers Paradise
We
are a FFL holder and have the necessary tax certificates. If you need
a copy for prize shipping just let us know.
Sponsorship
Packages
Co-sponsor:
We
had one for 2001 and it helped a lot. This one (1) spot,
and only 1 spot, is for a dedicated sponsor, a company that really wants
to make a commitment to the tactical community and to the precision rifle
sport. The actual "bottom line" is negotiable and will be worked
out, but at a minimum you will receive your name on the competition and
top billing on everything. The 2001 competition was named 2001 ShootRite
Sniper Challenge; sponsored by Snipers Paradise. If you want your
name in lights and want tons of advertising, then this is the spotlight
for you!
What you get:
1. Top
billing on everything. IE --->
Top
billing on the Website Logo
and link on HQ Page until 30 days after the competition (apx 960,000 visitors
will see that page in 12 months) The sooner you sign up the more exposure
you get.
Your
company name built into the competition logo
and placed on everything from T-shirts to print and TV ads.
Your
input on the logo design. Logo is placed on the front left breast of the t-shirts
2. Unlimited
demonstration time throughout the weekend.
3. Banner
space in all the prominent locations for shooters and pictures (you supply
the banners or we can design them for you)
4. Your
own event... IE "Your Name + event / example: Snipers Paradise
Sniper Golf"
5. You
can also Co-Sponsor a Dinner in your name. Another great opportunity to
talk to the shooters and discuss your products or other relevant topics.
6. This
is open for discussion. We are not limiting the Co-Sponsor to the mentioned
items, just giving a basic idea. If you have been toying with the idea
of your own competition but do not have the resources to accomplish that
goal, this is the Sponsorship Package for you! Email or call us to discuss
your ideas.
What
it will cost you: This too
is open for discussion and arrangements. The 2001 package was $10,000. How
much you spend will help work out exactly what we work out in return,
like advertisement and control. This can be all cash, part prizes, part
advertisement, part prize check for top team or shooter, etc.
Gold
Sponsor:
We
had several companies that fit into this category last year. Gold Sponsorship
is aimed at those with high dollar prizes they wish to donate, or a combination
of prizes and cash. What
you get:
1. 6
hrs Range Demonstration Time
2. Banner
Space in most prominent shooter areas and awards ceremony 3. Listing
in any and all print ads
4. Company
Logo on the T-shirts
5. Listing
in all emails sent out to competitors and other potential sponsors
6. Logo
or Banner on the Website
7. Distribution
of any literature to all shooters and guests.
What
it will cost you:
Gold Sponsorship is $4,000 - $8,000.
This can be all cash, part prizes, part advertisement, etc. We ask that you
try to send "pairs" whenever possible since we are working with teams
and their awards but on the bigger and more expensive items we fully understand
when only 1 can be provided.
Silver
Sponsor:
The
majority of our shooting related sponsors fit this category. This works
well for those sponsors that have excellent prizes they wish to donate,
like custom rifles, optics, targets, as well as many other related items. What
you get:
1. Range
Demonstration Time
2. Limited
Banner Space
3. Listing
in all emails sent out to competitors and other potential sponsors
4. General
Listing on the Website
5. Distribution
of literature to all shooters and guests
What
it will cost you: Silver Sponsorship
is $1,500 - $3,500. This can be all cash, part prizes, part advertisement,
etc. We ask that you try to send "pairs" whenever possible
since we are working with teams.
Bronze
Sponsor:
Many
of our contributors fit into this Sponsor Category. Bronze Sponsorship
is aimed at those with nice prizes that do not cost "an arm and a
leg." These are normally prize sets (for a team, IE two of what ever
is donated) Or a combination of prizes and cash. Many companies want to
show their support, but they are short on cash (we understand this all
too well). The Bronze Sponsors are generally the companies that need the
most help advertising, have the biggest hearts, and the smallest bank accounts.
There are of also some companies that want to show their support but they
are not familiar with Sniper's Paradise or our reputation. Being
a General Sponsor is a great way to get in the game and get to know us,
without taking any risks and worrying about your advertising investment. What
you get:
1. Banner
Space
2. Listing
on Website
3. Distribution
of your literature to all shooters and guests
What
it will cost you: The Bronze
Sponsor will donate $200 - $1400. This can be all cash, part prizes,
part advertisement, etc. We ask that you try to send "pairs" whenever
possible since we are working with teams.
**Cash
contributions will need to be sent NLT August 15th unless other arrangements
are made prior.
