The SP Mission

This site was created and is maintained for the professionals doing the job as well as the public's and media's education. For the professionals, this is a valuable source of job related information. The sniping profession is misunderstood by many not educated about what we do. News reporters throughout time have mislabeled crazed gunman as "sniper," darkening the profession's eye. Through the pages seen here, we hope to show that true long-range shooting, military sniping, and police sharpshooting is an art and science.  

Sniper's Paradise was originally founded on 06 June 1996 under the name of " Sniper Home Page." The basic grounds here are formed from Army instruction and comes from FM 23-10, personal experience , as well as many years of practical experience of the staff and members. Papers and non-original quotes are credited to the proper people whenever possible. If you find something here that you believe to be your undocumented, original idea, please write us so that we can correct the oversight. If you are interested in publishing some of your work here, submit it to our Webmasters or our Tech Support for consideration, we have several writers on staff that post work here on a regular basis as well as those that only contribute once or twice. We hope that you find the site educational, informative, interesting, and entertaining.
